About the Role: Part-Time Bookkeeper
We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to assist our team with essential bookkeeping tasks. This part-time role is ideal for students who want to balance their studies with practical work experience in a professional accounting setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Capturing financial transactions using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage)
• Bank reconciliations • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledgers
• Assisting with VAT calculations and submissions
• Filing and organising financial records
• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
Requirements:
• Currently in your 2nd or 3rd year of an Accounting degree or diploma
• Based in Johannesburg • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with cloud accounting software is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and contribute to the team
